I'm always on the look out for something a bit different or special, so I try to reflect that in the jewellery that I make. All my pieces are one offs. I do make some similar pieces, or use beads to make more than one piece but at the end of the day I want to be able to say that there is nothing like the jewellery that I am wearing so I reflect that in my work.
Recently I have been doing a lot of work with buttons. I'm attracted to the bold colours; the different finishes, patterns and textures and the fact that they make great everyday pieces that can be worn again and again. I've made necklaces, bracelets, brooches and rings.
